Welcome to the

Maryland Chapter of BWINAANA

The Maryland Chapter, BWI National Alumni Association of North America (BWINAANA) is one of 14 national chapters dedicated to keeping our alma mater, the Booker Washington Institute, alive and vibrant.

Understanding the tremendous contribution our alma mater has made to our own lives - personally and professionally - we are united in our efforts to conduct activities that allow for the continued development, expansion and growth of ourselves under the umbrella of our National Association.

Highlights from our last convention.

Our chapter's goals are to:

  • Hold aloft the ever-burning torch of our Alma Mater in our march for better life.
  • Seek and maintain the spirit of unity through mutual understanding and respect among members and sister chapters.
  • Formulate and implement plans, progams, etc. that will enhance the growth and development of the Association.
  • Stand in flank, thus positioning us as an extended and supporting arm of the National Body.
  • Seek the welfare of our members, and to extend limited provisions to needed graduates, former students and friends of the Association (yea, the National Body) who may be relocating in our community.

The National Association is headquartered in Baltimore.
